Chimney Flatts intertwines acoustic bluegrass instrumentation with modern indie and folk undertones. Their sound features lead singer/songwriter Timothy Sterne's lyrics and melodies, which seek honesty from the fleeting moments of life.

The band showcase their original tunes in their debut album, "Sky Painted Orange" which they recorded and produced live in their own loft recording studio in San Francisco (pictured).
